  17. 2 tbsps red chilli sauce
  18. 1 tbsps soya sauce
  19. 1 tbsps vinegar
  20. 1 tsp salt
  21. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  22. 3 tbsps cornflour
  23. 2 tbsps oil

Steps to make to make Chilli chicken

  1. First marinate the chicken pieces with all the listed ingredients (marination ingredients), mix it nicely and leave it for 3-4 hours.
  2. Heat up a pan with oil and drop the chicken pieces in oil and fry it till it turns golden brown. Fry all the chicken pieces and keep aside.
  3. Now heat up a pan with 2 tbsps oil add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies sauté it.
  4. Add the onion and capsicum, sauté for few seconds, now add red chilli powder salt and vinegar mix nicely and cook for 1 minute.
  5. After that add all the listed sauces in it and give a good mix, cook for few seconds on low to medium flame.
  6. Meanwhile in a small take 3 tbsps corn flour and 5 tbsps water and mix it. Add the mixture into the gray and also 1 cup of water, mix them and cook for 2-3 minutes on low to medium flame.
  7. After that add the fried chicken and mix nicely and cook for 2-3 minutes on low to medium flame (you can add water if you want more gravy) and turn off the flame.
  8. Now our yummy chicken chilli is ready to serve.
